Over Six Kilometers of Scenic Humber Riverside Groomed Hiking Trails Within Walking Distance of our Campground
WHILE AT OUR CAMPGROUND YOU CAN FISH TROUT IN THE HUMBER RIVER OR FISH SALMON. THERE IS A LARGE SALMON POOL JUST 3 MILES UP STREAM.

YOU HAVE A BOAT, YOU CAN TRAVEL
LESS THEN ONE MILE TO THE HUMBER RIVER GOLF CLUB (9 HOLES) OR
CANOE DOWN RIVER APPROXIMATELY 2 MILES TO DEER LAKE'S SANDY BEACHES. BOAT LAUNCH IS LOCATED 1 MILE DOWN STREAM.
THE NEWFOUNDLAND INSECTARIUM IS LOCATED JUST ACROSS THE ROAD AND HAS NATURE TRAILS. Click Images for Larger View
THERE IS SWIMMING IN THE HUMBER RIVER FROM OUR BOAT DOCK, HOWEVER, THERE IS NO LIFE GUARD.
OUR CAMPGROUND IS CENTURALLY LOCATED WITH EVERYTHING YOU MAY REQUIRE JUST MINUTES AWAY. CLICK HERE FOR NEARBY HUMBER VALLEY ATTRACTIONS
THE AREA IS FULL OF WILDLIFE, MOOSE AND WOODLAND CARIBOU WHICH ARE FREQUENTLY SIGTED. YOU MAY EVEN SEE THE ODD BLACK BEAR.
THERE IS A BEAUTIFUL SIX MILE HIKING TRAIL LOCATED ALONG THE HUMBER RIVER. THIS NEWLY BUILT TRAIL IS WELL MAINTAINED AND HAS MANY SCENIC REST AREAS.
THIS YEAR WE HAVE A NEW PLAYGROUND AND PICNIC AREA WITH LAWN GLIDERS AND KITCHEN SHELTERS.
